雅思口语Part1范文答案解析：Birthday生日

有人觉得生日很重要，每次都邀请亲朋好友一起庆祝；但也有人觉得生日无所谓，过生日那天跟平时完全一样，不过又长了一岁而已。但相信大家小的时候都曾经期待过生日。那一天可以吃好吃的，玩好玩的，甚至能拿到一笔零花钱。

What do you usually do on your birthday?你在生日那一天往往做什么？

I would treat my roommates to a feast.You know,the food served in my university’s canteen is far from delicious.So we have developed the tradition that no matter whose birthday it is,we would go to a fancy restaurant and enjoy some yummy food.The birthday is more like an excuse for us to indulge ourselves.

我会请我的室友吃大餐。我大学食堂的食物远远谈不上好吃。所以我们形成了这样子的传统，无论是谁的生日，我们都会去一家高端餐厅，享受美味的食物。生日更像是我们放纵自己的一个借口。

What did you do on your birthday when you were young?你小的时候会在生日那一天做什么？

Let me see.When I was a kid,my parents would take me to the wonderland in my city on my birthday.It was a huge place.There were circus performances,shooting games,roller coasters,and lovely animals.And on our way back home,they would buy me a small cake in the grocery.

让我想想。当我还是个孩子的时候，我父母会在我生日那一天带我到城市里的游乐园玩。那是个巨大的地方，有马戏表演，射击游戏，过山车和可爱的动物。回家的路上，他们会在小商店里给我买个小蛋糕。

Do you think it is important for you to celebrate your birthday?你觉得庆祝生日对你来说重要吗？

To be honest,I do not.I used to look forward to my birthday when I was a child because it meant I was one year closer to becoming an adult.But now,I am already 21 years old.Celebrating it or not does not make much difference.

老实说，我不觉得。我小的时候曾经很期待生日，因为它意味着我离成年又近了一岁。但现在，我已经21岁了。庆祝生日与否并没有太大的区别。

Whose birthday do you think is the most important to celebrate in China?在中国，你认为庆祝谁的生日最为重要？

As far as I am concerned,it should be the grandparents’,especially when they are over 70 years old.Their birthdays are significant not only because they provide a chance for the whole family to get together,but also because there are not many birthdays left for them to celebrate for the rest of their lives.

在我看来，应该是爷爷奶奶的，尤其是当他们超过70岁的时候。他们的生日很重要，不仅仅是因为它们给家族聚会提供了机会，而且还因为在他们的余生里，并没有太多的生日可以庆祝了。
